Local residents of Chhattisgarh who actually appear in the exam/interview will get the examination fee refunded to the account entered during online application; correction fee, portal fee, service tax and other charges are not refunded.

Additional relaxations: 5 years for CG SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), max 38 years for CG government/corporation/board employees and contractual employees, 5 years for persons with disabilities, 10 years for local women of Chhattisgarh, 5 years for widow/deserted/divorced women, up to 45 years for Shiksha Karmi/Panchayat Karmi; total relaxation cannot exceed 45 years. Reservation and age relaxation benefits are available only to local/original residents of Chhattisgarh.
QualificationPost-graduate degree or diploma in the concerned specialty (Psychiatry) from a recognised university, recognised by the Medical Council of India; valid and live registration with the Indian Medical Council (now National Medical Commission) or any State Medical Council is mandatory. All qualifications must be held on or before the last date of online application.

How to Apply

  1. Visit www.psc.cg.gov.in during 21/07/2026 (12:00 noon) to 19/08/2026 (11:59 pm) and open the active online application link.
  2. New candidates complete Candidate's Registration with name, parents' names, gender, date of birth, mobile number, e-mail ID and ID proof number, then verify OTP received on mobile and e-mail; already registered candidates log in with existing ID and password.
  3. Capture and upload a live photo through the link sent to the registered mobile number (clear face, both ears visible, eyes open, light plain background).
  4. Upload signature made with black ball pen on white paper, scanned as a .JPG file of maximum 100 KB.
  5. Save, then click the Apply button on the dashboard against the advertised post and fill all entries of the application form carefully.
  6. Pay the application fee and/or portal fee + GST online through Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or other available option.
  7. Confirm that the acknowledgement shows Application Status as 'Submitted' and Payment Status as 'Paid', and keep printouts of the application and payment receipt safe until the selection process is over.
  8. Use the free correction window (20–22 August 2026) or paid correction window (23–25 August 2026, ₹500) if any error needs to be corrected — only once each.
